In my router I can set the number of hops in UPnP. It’s a bit boring and I would expect it to work perfectly as it was before.Īgain I can’t tell if the problem comes from Plex or my router as I found posts at exactly the same time explaining that people lost Remote Access. I’ve found a fix which is forcing the port in Plex and use the one that is displayed on my router interface.īut I’m experiencing power outages (from my provider) and every time my router restarts (my NAS which is hosting Plex doesn’t reboot as it’s just a super short cut) I have to set Plex with automatic port, then check my router to find the port and finally force the port. I can see on the router that the port is properly opened but in the remote access settings of Plex it turns green and then after less than a second port changes to 0 and it doesn’t work anymore.

I was using my provider router before without any problem and changed to a Nighthawk R6700 a month ago.Īt the same time I upgraded Plex MS and remote access didn’t work automatically using UPnP.
